Face of Australia Translucent Loose Powder review

I always set my foundation with a face powder to control my oils throughout the day and give me a even and smooth finish to my makeup.

I was sent the Face of Australia Translucent Loose powder (Outback translucent) to try and really like it. It comes in a jar with a screw on lid and has 30grams of product.

It is translucent so it won't add colour to your face. The texture is a fine, light, soft powder that feels soft on the skin and applies smoothly.
The powder looks just nice over my foundation and sets my foundation so that I don't get oily or shiny on my face.

Face of Australia say: This finely ground, translucent face powder enables you to achieve a professional finish to your make-up application. The refined textured powder controls shine and helps prevent oil breakthrough whilst adding a hint of colour for a smooth, natural looking complexion.

It really does what it says. This powder stays on well throughout the day and maintains a matte finish and leaves my face looking natural. If your looking for a affordable powder to set your foundation, this is great.

The Face of Australia Translucent Loose Powder retails for $11.95aud and is available in Priceline and department stores.

Do you use a face powder?

I have been using an Avon one, but I don't like it. I've tried a few but never really found a good one that can fit within my budget. This is great - thanks for the review, it's on my list :)

My foundation always slides off my face, so might give this one a try to see if it works!
