Sigma makeup brushes - Synthetic Kabuki Kit review

Makeup brushes are a great investment to make for anyones makeup collection. To achieve a flawless professional makeup application you need good quality brushes. I have always been a fan of makeup brushes and you don't need to spend a lot to get good quality brushes.

I have been using Sigma brushes for a while now and a few months ago I purchased the Sigma Synthetic Kabuki kit . I ordered them online and at the time Sigma were having free shipping, so I just had to try this set of brushes.

These makeup brushes are really exquisite quality, I love everything about them. The bristles are soft, but dense and they have a sturdy handle and easy to use. They are easy to wash and they don't shed when you wash them.

Sigma Beauty says: The Synthetic Kabuki Kit contains four face brushes for high definition, flawless makeup application. The brushes in this collection feature exclusive Synthetic filament, specially designed to apply powder and liquid products without absorption into the fibers. The shape, density and height of the filaments were carefully engineered to perfectly buff products onto the skin, resulting in a high definition effect.

Here are the four brushes in this kit:

The F80 a Flat Kabuki brush great for all over application of liquid and cream foundations. It allows you to buff the foundation onto the skin which gives a flawless finish.

The F82 is a Round Kabuki similar to the F80 except the round shape. This is great to apply liquid and cream foundation, the curved shape means it is great for around the eyes, nose and chin. This brush can also be used for applying mineral foundation.

The F84 is a Angled Kabuki brush, this is great for applying blush powder or cream. Also can be used for contouring the face and I have also used it for applying foundation. A versatile brush with many uses.

The F86 is the Tapered Kabuki brush has a tapered shape which is great to use on any areas of the face where you need precise application. I like it for applying powder, concealer, blush and contouring.
You can also apply primer and a highlighter with this brush for that precise application.

Overall I really love these brushes, they are affordable and great quality. If your starting out in makeup or need brushes for your collection I would recommend these. This collection and many other great Sigma brushes can be purchased online at Sigma Beauty

What makeup brushes have you tried or use?

I want to try Sigma brushes so bad! But they are just way too expensive I mean it's around $9 for shipping. Just too much plus the price of the brushes :( Great review though

@voulez-amour? I don't like paying for shipping either. Sigma Beauty are having a deal this month where they are offering 10% off - check that out ( see the banner on the left hand side of my site, for more info)

I've been lemming the Round Kabuki for liquid foundation application, I'm sorely lacking a good buffing brush!

Other than the tapered brush I have these and love them. I also would highly recommend the E25, one of their best!
