Colour Theory makeup - eyes, nails, cheeks and lips review

I love discovering new makeup products and brands, so today we are talking about Colour Theory - a new affordable line of products that consists of lips, face, eye and nail products.

The Colour Theory makeup line has four simple price points of $4, $6, $8 and $10. A great range of products for great prices.

The packaging on these products is simple and clear with vibrant gorgeous colours.

The lipstick I have is razzle dazzle, a pretty red with deep pink understones - Colour Theory says: a range of moisturising lipsticks that hydrate lips making them feel silky soft. The formula features a creamy, comfortable texture with just the right amount of colour and moisture! Available in 16 shades.

This lipstick is so pretty, it glides on the lips and does feel moisturizing with great pigmentation. At $6 each this is definitely a great lipstick.

The blush I have is Dollhouse - a pale pink colour.

Colour Theory says:  talc and mineral based blushers are soft to the touch, infused with high levels of pigments, and are super blendable for a perfect finish. They’re user friendly and always deliver professional results; a little goes a long way so you can be as daring as you like!

This blush is so nice, it feels soft and you can build it up. It glides on the cheek smoothly and is such a pretty pink. There are four shades, at $6 another great product to own.

The eyeshadow duo I have is called berrylicious -  a pretty pink with a dark purple colour.

Colour Theory says: Define and brighten your eyes with Colour Theory eye shadows and create a professional eye catching look. The silky formula is easy to apply so you can build colour as desired.  A little goes a long way due to the high colour pigmentation.

This is such a cute duo the colours work well together and the quality of this eyeshadow is fantastic. They are very well pigmented and finely milled. I found these best to apply with a  damp eyeshadow brush so it sticks to it better. (would be nice if it came with a applicator for those on the go)

These are available in six shades at $6 each.

The nailpolishes I have are: the red colour in Red Delicious and a pink in Flamingo

Colour Theory says: Fast drying and long lasting, your manicure will outlast even the toughest chores and come out vibrant and shiny with our premium, two coat polish leaving you with super glossy nails. Your nails have never looked so good!

Straight up these nailpolishes are amazing! They have such great colour payoff and a shiny finish. They dry pretty quickly - which is one thing that I love in a nailpolish - and they are a great formula. They feel and look like a expensive nailpolish. There are 22 shades to choose from and are $4 each.

The two eye pencils I have are slate (purple colour) and emerald (green colour).

Colour Theory says:  eye pencils have been made to be not too hard, not too soft, with just enough colour pigment. Formulated with moisturising ingredients for a super smooth application.Very versatile – so you can have a precise and defined line or smudged for a smokey look.

These eye pencils are a nice addition as they are a creamy formula and easy to apply. (TIP: make sure you rub the pencil in on your hand to get the pencil down to a round tip for easier application) The colours are nice and great to wear on their own for that pop of colour. At $4 each.

Overall Colour Theory makeup has proven to be a great affordable brand. With its simple, clear packaging and good quality products they are a bargain. They are available at chemists only -Amcal and Guardian - and a great selection of products. With fun colours there will definitely be something you will like.
